We moved to our 2 acre property in 2020 and purchased the Dynatrap to assist with mosquitos since the neighbor has a small pond across the road. There are a lot of trees on the property and area, many infected with bagworms. The bagworms were so bad they would crawl up the side of the house and hang on the gutters. Also when the worms would hatch they would be hanging out of the trees and we would run into the webs as we mowed. We hang the trap in April and run it nonstop thru the summer into fall. This has been very helpful with Mospuitos but After 3 years of Dynatrap use we no longer have bagworms in our trees. We did not treat the trees, the dynatrap drew in the moths that would lay the eggs and fertilize the worms. This was a bonus !! the only complaint I have is the 2020 model is not easy to clean but it has proved not only to take care of Mosquitos but many other types of insects. THANK YOU DYNATRAP!
Quiet, effective and reasonably priced

Works well a bit non-discriminant in what it catches, but this is clearly indicated on the website and instructions. Would appreciate the option of pole mounting the product as it only hangs or you need to place on something else or the ground.

4-1/2 stars. It works great, but am I bug free, no. And bug-free might be an impossibility this time of year when we are seeing an even greater mosquito presance than ever before. However, my patio is much more enjoyable and I canlive with the occasional flyer.

Setup was easy, though I have to say it was larger than I expected, so I haven't been able to hang it up yet, as the spot I was originally planning on putting it is too small. It's certainly been catching lots of flying insects, but it's too soon to tell how effective it is. I haven't emptied it yet, but I'm a little nervous to do so, as some of the insects it catches take quite a while to die so there will be plenty of living bugs flying around in the trap. Hopefully dunking the trap in a bucket of water will help take care of that without letting any bugs escape. Overall I'm happy so far, and hope to start seeing noticeable results in the next few weeks!
