Dynatrap® ½ Acre Black Wall-Mount Insect Trap provides a simple and effective option for protecting your property. With options to be wall mounted or hung, this trap delivers powerful three-way protection against flying insects with its UV bulb, Ti02 coating, and whisper-quiet fan. Easily twist the retaining cage off for simple, emptying and cleaning. The lightweight, portable, and powerful all-weather trap is designed to provide protection up to ½ acre.
3-Way Protection
Dynatrap® technology utilizes 3-way protection to defend your property against insect pests. First, the UV bulb generates warm light, which is highly attractive to many pest insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, creates a reaction to produce a CO2 trail that mimics human breath and is irresistible to mosquitoes. Once attracted to the unit, the powerful, whisper-quiet fan draws the insects and mosquitoes into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die, typically within 24 hours.
How to Use
The Dynatrap® ½ Acre Mosquito & Insect Trap was designed with ease of use in mind. The trap requires no propane or additional attractants (optional). To get started, mount your trap to the wall or hang your trap in between insect breeding areas and people areas. To avoid attracting insects to where you spend time, the trap should be located approximately 20-40 ft away from where people will be sitting or standing. Plug the trap in and keep it continuously running.

THE TRAP WAS FULL OF MOSQUITOES!

I have lived at our present address for over 25 years and every year I did battle with mosquitoes until this year thanks to DynaTrap. Every year I would need to get out at least two and up to four Thermacells and mosquito repellent coils to keep the mosquitoes at bay but not this year! I bought one DynaTrap DT1100 just to try it out. After two weeks I thought this thing doesn’t work that well. After two more weeks I was absolutely blown away! It was the start to one of the best summers ever to sit outside on our deck. Mosquito free! I can’t say thanks enough! What a great product!

I bought two of this , one for home and one for my Fire station, they worked great for about a year and a half, but after the warranty ran out, the ballast on both went out, I thought it was the light bulb at first, i called Dyna Trap to buy replacement parts but they told me they don't sell them, the rep on the phone told me there was nothing they could do. do not buy unless you want an expensive paperweight in about a year.

the trap was work working properly for 3 months and then the fan started making noise and stopped

Kills bugs, especially mosquitoes! I have one Dynatrap on my rear deck and one on my front porch. We can now enjoy the outdoors again!
Dynatrap Customer Service is very helpful and easy to contact. Unlike many companies, Dynatrap actually honors their warranties!
This product worked great but had to be replaced after 3 months

This product worked great all summer and I could really tell it was working and trapping a lot of flying insects including mosquitos. But the bulb went out and I tried to replacing it with a new bulb but the device must have malfunctioned because new bulbs did not work. I contacted the company and the quickly sent a replacement product out to replace the defective product but I’m a little concerned that it might happen again. I do like that the company didn’t hesitate in sending out a new one. I really appreciate that at least. I would have rated it 5 stars but it remains to be seen if the product will last longer than 3-4 months.

Received as a gift. The bulb works, the fan has never worked and I can't find the $15 replacement fan becuase all replacement parts are out of stock - everywhere. Product is useless without the fan.

Defective Model.

Defective Model. DO NOT PURCHASE!! Light bulb continues to go off with fan running even after turning off and on again. Had a replacement shipped to me, and the same thing! Even tried other bulbs, same result! Don't waste your time with this model. I have other models that work just fine, in fact I recommend the 3/4 acre one.

At first I was amazed really worked well. After two days not only were the mosquitos back, now I have ants eating the dead moths.
