I have 3 -1 acre traps on a 1/4 acre.
After several months of continuous 24/7 running none of these traps has many mosquitoes and mostly moths and a small amount of other various bugs.
I’m not using the advertised OPTIONAL $19 per unit attractant because it’s supposed to get mosquitoes without it.
So far it’s just a waste of money and electricity.
I will re-review these units after trying the added attractant to see the difference.
If there’s one thing you can count on it’s that Florida has tons of active mosquitoes year round but they can’t seem to find the traps just the people in the yard.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We're sorry to hear that the desired results have not yet been seen with this product. When placing the traps, they should be at least 20-40 feet away from people areas. We also recommend that they are in an area with good air flow and no competing light. Bought 2-1 acre bug traps only traps moths and still have a bunch of mosquitoes. Not worth the money.

When smaller insects such as mosquitos are caught, they will decompose to dust, while larger insects like moths will retain their shape. These are the best bug light you can get. The only trouble we have with them are the light sockets don't hold up. We are going to order a new one with the UV light in it. We also have the small unit had a little trouble with the cord I think I have it fixed. This will be our 4th unit we really like these.

I bought a 1 acre fan about 3 years ago. Well the fan went out. A piece in it broke and chewed it all up. I cannot get a fan anywhere. dynatrap can’t get them either. So if you buy the 1 acre when it breaks it’s a throwaway. Just go spend another 200 bucks on another one. It’s a great product works well.

Have 3 of tgese on my 5 acres. Had them fir 5 years now. Never 1 single mosquito bite. Excelkent product. Bulb replacement is a challange with big hands but what isnt!

We have this unit in our backyard, and it definitely helps! The bulbs burnt out after a couple of years use and while I waited for replacements, I noticed an increase in mosquitoes. Once I replaced the bulbs and starting using again there was a noticeable difference.

Worked great for about a year, UV bulbs went out. After purchasing $20 replacement bulbs, come to fin out the ballast is bad. No order # on the ballast, out of stock on the Dynatrap site. Obviously this has been an issue for an expensive bug catcher! Get it together Dynatrap!

I bought the 1 acre Dynatrap last year. It has been incredible at keeping my lanai and pool area bug free! For some reason, it stopped working at just over 1 year. I called Dynatrap and explained my situation. They asked me to send it back to them at their expense. They would check it out. Lo and behold, they sent me a new one!! I am sooo thankful and thrilled that they backed their product! It is an awesome machine!! Again, thank you so much!!
We love the Decora Series Insect Trap around our house and farm. I would highly recommend it!

It has really made a difference with the bug problem around our house. I want to get another one to help with the bugs around our farm animals.
