Helpfulness
Check of the fan size first by calling

It did not fit my Dynarap unit. Shipping was more expensive than the fan. I did not return it but will remove the fan from the plastic housing for future repairs. The new fan did work.
Not the best product on the market. Made in China tells you everything

The fan worked great. However I bought the Dynatrap from Walmart and in 1 month the fan came apart. It was easier to buy a new one than the hassle of returning for another.Tthe other option was to toss it in the garbage. Not very well made or tested. l
Lets hope the replacement fan lasts.
Wrong wire end
Jun 24, 2022
Despite supposedly being the correct replacement fan for the 1/2 acre model with a screw, it didn't quite work. The motor and housing were correct and the screw hole lined up but it had a different end on the wire. There was no way I was going to waste my time sending it back only to get another one with an incorrect wire terminal so I cut off the terminal from the bad fan and spliced it onto the new motor. Considering that the original fan motor only lasted 3 weeks and this replacement was incorrect, I definitely won't be buying another one when this quits working. Quite disappointing.
My guess is that my unit is older than ones your new parts will fit.

The part I received did not line up with the top half of my unit. I had to re-drill the four screw holes in the new part to make them match the holes in my old unit and use longer screws to be able to tighten the two parts. It is working fine now.
Unresolved issue and noncommunication.

I cannot rate something or a part that is of no use to me as the Dynatrap motor fan wiring system to the one I own does not match the Dynatrap motor fan wiring system I purchased and was sent in replacement. Not only that, but I submitted an email stating the above and have yet to get a response.
I am pleased I was able to purchase a replacement motor directly from DynaTrap

My DynaTrap is about 5 years old. I keep it indoors unplugged for the winter. Usually I just keep it a cleaning and a new bulb and it's good to go for another summer, but this year, things didn't sound quite right when I plugged it in: a lot of vibration. It turns out the plastic spindle (in the middle of the rotating fan blades) had cracked, though I don;t recall dropping the Dynatrap. More likely, it is aging related to the CO2 / catalyst activity, causing the fan plastic to become brittle.
Whatever the cause, the replacement motor/fan setup was easy to swap out once I understood how to unclip the plastic tabs that keep the interior of the synatrap in place.
One thing I did notice was a slight difference in the electrical connector, otherwise everything was same-same!
