What Are No-See-Ums

Impregnated females will seek out moist areas to lay their eggs and hatch their young. No-See-Ums Prevention
Though no-see-ums can be more difficult to get rid of than mosquitoes due to their small size, there are effective ways to prevent them from invading your home. Here are some of the most effective methods of preventing no-see-ums infestations:
- Insect Traps — Much like mosquitoes, no-see-ums are attracted to light. Dynatrap® has a wide selection of traps for indoor and outdoor use. Our traps use light to attract insects to the trap. - Dress Properly — If you know you are going to be in an area that attracts no-see-ums, be proactive. Dress properly for the occasion by wearing long-sleeved shirts and pants, and decrease the exposed surface area of your skin. If you want further protection, wear a hat with netting and apply repellent to any exposed areas.
