This trap delivers powerful three-way protection against flying insects with its UV LED bulb, TiO2 coating, and whisper-quiet fan. Easily empty the captured insects from the retaining cage with the push of a button – no need to take your trap apart or come in contact with the insects for disposal.
3-Way Protection
Dynatrap® technology utilizes 3-way protection to defend your property against insect pests. First, the UV fluorescent bulb generates warm light, which is highly attractive to many pest insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, creates a reaction to produce a CO2 trail that mimics human breath and is irresistible to mosquitoes. Once attracted to the unit, the powerful, whisper-quiet fan draws the insects and mosquitoes into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die, typically within 24 hours.
How to Use
The Dynatrap® 1/2 Acre Insect Trap was designed with ease of use in mind. The trap requires no propane or additional attractants (optional). To get started, hang or place your trap on a flat surface in between insect breeding areas and people areas. Place traps 3-6 feet above the ground to increase chances of mosquito contact. To avoid attracting insects to where you spend time, the trap should be located approximately 20-40 ft away from where people will be sitting or standing. Simply plug the trap in a standard 120v outlet and keep it continuously running.

need a bigger with same type specs.. your one acre trap only lasted one season out of warrenty ,no parts. the light works but fan quite . why would i spend 300 dollars that wont last ??

Can you leave this out in the rain still plugged in or should I bring it in ans disconnect it?

The trap is designed to be outdoors in all weather. We recommend to bring the unit inside in the case of extreme wind, rain, or thunderstorms.

When it's time to change to bulb, is it safe to just throw old bulb in with the regular trash?
