How long is the electrical cord? My older dynatrap cord was about 5-6 ft. Our newer one is much shorter.

Yes, you may use this Dyna Trap, Model DT1130, for indoor and outdoor use, per our online manual listed under the specific trap model, then "RESOURCES" tab. Thank you for your question.
