Dynatrap® 1 Acre LED Mosquito and Insect Trap with EZ Disposal Terrazza Basket

Is your home and yard plagued by mosquitoes, biting flies, wasps, moths, Asian beetles, or stink bugs? The Dynatrap 1 Acre LED Mosquito and Insect Trap with EZ Disposal Terrazza Basket provides a simple and effective option for protecting your property. This trap delivers powerful three-way protection against flying insects with its UV LED bulb, TiO2 coating, and whisper-quiet fan. Easily empty the captured insects from the retaining cage with the push of a button – no need to take your trap apart or come in contact with the insects for disposal.

1 Acre LED Mosquito and Insect Trap with EZ Disposal

3-Way Protection

Dynatrap® technology utilizes 3-way protection to defend your property against insect pests. First, the UV fluorescent bulb generates warm light, which is highly attractive to many pest insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive TiO2 titanium dioxide-coated surface, creates a reaction to produce a CO2 trail that mimics human breath and is irresistible to mosquitoes. Once attracted to the unit, the powerful, whisper-quiet fan draws the insects and mosquitoes into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die, typically within 24 hours.

3-Way Protection

How to Use

The Dynatrap® 1 Acre Insect Trap was designed with ease of use in mind. The trap requires no propane or additional attractants (optional). To get started, hang or place your trap on a flat surface in between insect breeding areas and people areas. Place traps 3-6 feet above the ground to increase chances of mosquito contact. To avoid attracting insects to where you spend time, the trap should be located approximately 20-40 ft away from where people will be sitting or standing. Simply plug the trap in a standard 120v outlet and keep it continuously running.

How to Use

Attractive Design

Not only can Dynatrap® Mosquito and Insect Traps defend your property against bothersome insects, but they also look great while doing so. This trap has a sleek tungsten finish and an exclusive decorative floral basket that not only blends in with the rest of your décor, but also allows for easy disposal of insects. Simply push a button to release the insects out of the retaining cage and into the garbage – no contact with the trapped insects required.

Helpfulness
Purchased 1/2 acre LED dynatrap ...

Purchased 1/2 acre LED dynatrap which arrived in perfect condition one week ago today. I live on shore of Lake Ontario on a 1/3 acre lot. I don't think anyone would be suprised if I said we have loads of flying insects that can be seen in swarms regularly. I purched this trap hopeful but skeptical. It's been breezy 3 of the 7 days I have had this which typically reduces overall bug numbers out in open. The other 4 days this thing sucked in hundreds and hundreds of small mosquito like insects filling the basket 3/4 of the way and clogging the entire fan system up to the point of stopping it. I clean this thing out really good 2 times in one weeks time because the fans jams up over a few days. The trap works amazing attracting them but the fan blade appears to be smashing the bugs guts on to the blades which build up very very quickly. That build up soon begins to increase the fan blade size and it begins rubbing and the fan stops! I'm not sure if the 1 acre unit would help or not. I know I can NOT clean this unit out 2 or 3 times a week beyond emptying the basket to keep this running. Sadly I have to return this and will only try the 1 acre unit if the company rep thinks this might help. If the fan was stronger maybe it would help. And just for the record yes if the basket fills high enough it does restrict airflow. But half or so full should never effect performance where fans stops and if it does there's a design flaw. 5 stars attracting bugs... 2 stars overall because fan clogging way to easy and stops!

Wow, it sounds like you have quite a few bugs to deal with! A larger trap with a larger fan would most likely give you better results. Please give us a call directly, we would be happy to set up a return and help you find the right fit for your needs. - Susan

I have noticed an almost immediate difference with mosquitos in my back yard. Been about a week since I've hung my DynaTrap and so far, so good!

Don’t waste your money. There are much better more affordable options out there. I’d rather be bitten from head to toe than blow my money on another one of these. It’s great at catching moths but that’s about it!

We are sorry to hear that you did not see better results against mosquitoes! Keep in mind that once dehydrated, the mosquitoes are typically so small that they appear to be dirt or debris in the retaining cage. Please feel free to contact us directly with any other questions. - Susan

Catching plenty of moths and junebugs, sadly not a single dehydrated mosquito. Moving south soon, will give it another try there, but our mosquitos are too smart.

This works very well at attracting and trapping flying insects. It's easy to set up and use. I bought two and put them on opposites sides of my home. It's great because I don't have to do anything once I set it up. I might get a third....
