Fight flying insects with the DynaZap® Insect Zapper. The lightweight, portable, and powerful zapper is designed to provide 1.5 acres of protection. Flying insects are instinctively drawn to the included UV bulb, which generates a warm, attractive light. Once insects encounter the electric grid, they are zapped and eliminated on the spot. Easy to use, this hassle-free design needs minimal maintenance. With a durable, all-weather construction, it provides 24/7 protection - rain or shine.
Protection All Season Long
DynaZap® Insect Zapper technology covers up to an acre of your yard for total flying pest protection. First, the UV fluorescent bulb generates warm light, which is highly attractive to many pest insects. The bulb will last up to 4 months continuously, or about 3,000 hours. Once lured in by the UV light, the insects come in contact with the electric grid. They are immediately zapped and eliminated on the spot. This zapper provides instant relief from insects or the pests that fly into it.
How to Use
The DynaZap® Insect Zapper makes it easy to start instantly reducing flying insects. Simply plug into an outside outlet and place 20-40 feet away from areas where people gather and about 6 feet above the ground. From there, you can let your Zapper run continuously for 24/7 protection. With the sleek design, it not only blends in with outdoor décor, but also has all-weather durability so your yard is always protected.

My recently purchased Dynazap is doing exactly what I had hoped it would do. I can hear it working 24/7 since day one. It's been almost a week since it arrived and will probably have to clean it today.
I love using the DynaZap in my barn! I have over 20 horses and flies can be very hard to control, but this unit most definitely helps keep the flies off my horses! It’s a snap to set up, use, and maintain, and my horses easily adapted to it. It’s quiet and nice looking; much improved from the old ones I remember from the 80’s!
The Dynazap bug zapper is very effective, easy to setup and operate. After one full week of use (24/7), the grid was completely filled with numerous outdoor pests. A huge number of mosquitoes, moths, and flies. The Dynazap gives off plenty of light to attract the pests but not so much as to be glaring. Removal of the two bulbs to facilitate cleaning was a little cumbersome as you gave to be careful not to break them or to lose the for retainer screws. Overall, I find the Dynazap a great tool to control the pests.
We hung the DynaZap Insect Zapper on a garden hook/pole at the outside edge of our garage, a nice distance from our backyard deck where we like to hang out. We taped the plug to our extension cord (plugged inside the garage) to keep the extension cord plug from getting wet. We also added a couple of zip ties to hold the cord securely to the hook pole. In changing out the bulbs, I could have easily cut the zip ties to take the insect zapper down, but it would be a pain to take the tape off - as it was probably pretty sticky from the hot weather weve had lately. It was a bit of a challenge to take the tiny screws out from the bottom of the zapper while it was still hanging on the hook. I think a small clamp system would be a better choice to tiny screws to hold the bottom replaceable panel out. I think the DynaZap Insect Zapper worked extremely well. It looked nice hanging on our garden hook, and it really was a soft light. It was loaded with bugs after only a week. It was very quiet, as we never heard a zapping sound. After unplugging the unit, it was easy to clear off the bugs with our battery powered blower.
This zapper gets the bugs killed effectively! It has a nice shape and two bulbs so you will always be ready even if one burns out. It is easy to change the bulbs and clean it up. I feel it will last a while, doesn’t look bad either.
This product is not for the faint of heart. If you are concerned about hurting innocent mosquitoes or other annoying winged insects, flypaper may be a better option. I bought the 1.5 acre DynaZap to create a no-go zone for my yard and if I make my neighbors outdoor life more pleasurable by attracting more flying pest to their death so be it. I mounted my DynaZap on my front porch and the snap crackle and pop hasn't stopped since sun down. I will probably get one for the back porch also. Great job Woodstream!
