The Dynatrap® ¼ Acre LED Mosquito and Insect Trap with EZ Disposal Terrazza Basket provides a simple and effective option for protecting your property. This trap delivers powerful three-way protection against flying insects with its UV LED bulb, TiO2 coating, and whisper-quiet fan. Easily empty the captured insects from the retaining cage with the push of a button – no need to take your trap apart or come in contact with the insects for disposal.
3-Way Protection
Dynatrap® technology utilizes 3-way protection to defend your property against insect pests. First, the UV fluorescent bulb generates warm light, which is highly attractive to many pest insects. Then a second lure, an exclusive Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surface, creates a reaction to produce a CO2 trail that mimics human breath and is irresistible to mosquitoes. Once attracted to the unit, the powerful, whisper-quiet fan draws the insects and mosquitoes into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die, typically within 24 hours.
How to Use
The Dynatrap® ¼ Acre Insect Trap was designed with ease of use in mind. The trap requires no propane or additional attractants (optional). To get started, hang or place your trap on a flat surface in between insect breeding areas and people areas. Place traps 3-6 feet above the ground to increase chances of mosquito contact. To avoid attracting insects to where you spend time, the trap should be located approximately 20-40 ft away from where people will be sitting or standing. Simply plug the trap in a standard 120v outlet and keep it continuously running.

It does a fabulous job attracting flying bugs (Moths) that tract by light (which is why I bought it - I’ve got an over abundance of moths that have found there eat inside too); however, it doesn’t attract anything else.

You may be catching plenty of mosquitoes, even though you are mainly seeing other, larger bugs in your trap. Once they are caught, mosquitoes dehydrate and die. Because they are so small, they are often mistaken with dirt or dust in your trap. Please give us a buzz at 877-403-8727 for further assistance! We'd love to help you get the most of your trap.

I live on a lake in Central Florida. The mosquitoes are really bad down here. I purchased the trap several years ago. I went through two bulbs. But it still works like new. It’s made my backyard bearable. Of course I leave it on 24 seven. Works great!

This does the job that I expected it would do. I have it in my garage to provide a point for all the bugs to gather at so I only need to clean one area. It does fine...keeping in mind that ANY of these traps will NOT capture every single bug around...this is a non evasive, non chemical solution to attract and kill bugs....so anyone that expects these machines to safely attract and kill every type of bug out there they are just expecting too much from this product!

We have had the 1/2 acre Dynatrap for 3 years, plus the indoor plug in bug traps. VERY effective. Our backyard & house are bug free every summer. After we got the trap, I noticed that the mini-golf place near us had a 1 acre trap to keep the course mosquito & wasp free. Works like a charm.
Does not work on No Seeums or Gnats

We have a beach house and I ordered this as it was actually recommended by an exterminator friend of mine. We are in high season for gnats and no seeums so I was excited to try this product. We were at the house Memorial day weekend until now, had company every single day and we ended up not being able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor weather we had. It did absolutely nothing for either of them, matter of a fact, my one GF got sooooo tore up by them, she needed a script from her doctor, so as of now you get a 1 star rating, if it actually works for the green heads and flies, I may change my rating but at this point in time I'm highly disappointed in the product and would not recommend to anyone.
