Helpfulness
Worked Great for 2 years, but overpriced for life expectancy

Have to say this thing worked amazingly for the first two years of ownership, however, now I am going to replace the lightbulbs which I have done many times before, except now no light. Feel it is broken and more than happy to update review if I can get it working again. For $60 for 3109 version, it should last longer than a few years

This is a piece of useless material. It doesn't attract anything if it even emits CO2. Highly doubtful. The light is so dim.
Worked Great The First Day ... And Nothing After That

Within the first 24 hours after placing this out, it caught nine flies. I couldn’t have been happier. Unfortunately, that’s where it stopped. After that first 24 hours, it hasn’t caught any more flies over the next one month. What happened? Why did it work so well the first day and hasn’t caught anything ever since? I have tried moving it to many different locations, some low and some high. I just don’t get it!

Thank you for this feedback. We're sorry to hear that continued catches were not seen. We recommend placing the trap in areas where insect activity is being seen. Keep in mind that not all insects are nocturnal, so turning the lights off around the trap may not be beneficial. Fewer catches could also be the result of a lack of insects in the area it is placed.

Excellent trap, there are plenty of other UV/glue traps marketed for gnat problems but nothing worked like the DynaTrap. Not sure if it’s the CO2 thing or the fan that really draws them in , but it just works. Not an hour after turning it on the first glue trap was completely covered, 100+ gnats at least. Changed it and moved it to different rooms in the house, and we finally found the source plants they were hatching in using this method. Now I just keep in on 24/7 in the kitchen and haven’t seen a gnat around since. One note to be careful with, if you need to open the trap up to check the glue card do it outside, as some of the bugs that got sucked in may not be stuck to the card yet.
Really catches fruit flies

We had fruit flies and we couldn't find the source. We loved out outdoor Dynatrap so we decided to invest in this indoor model. Within two days we had captured dozens of those pesky fruit flies and now they seem to be gone. It's quiet and is pleasing to the eye. Great purchase!

Purchased one for area next to sink for drain gnats (was overwhelmed last season) and the card was nearly filled in a couple of wheeks. Bought an additional unit for the family room and, although there are less on the card, I have seen maybe one during the period of time I have been using them.

So tired of the gnats flying around in our house out in the country! Husband saw an ad for dynatrap so we bought this particular model. I’m telling you within 10 minutes of plugging it in, there were gnats stuck to the glue trap inside!!! We’ve moved it from room to room and have had no more issues!! Only wish I’d have gotten the kit with the extra glue traps! We love this gadget!
