Fan stop working after a ...

Fan stop working after a summer had to trash it. Will not buy one again. I have a bug zapper light had it for years working just great. There product is not worth the money

Just died. Didn’t catch many mosquitoes, just a lot of moths.
It was fairly expensive & didn’t do much. Only used one summer & then it just died.

I bought the Dynatrap DT2030SR Fly Traps Outdoor - Mosquito & Flying Insect Killer for 1 Acre from Amazon in June 2025 and discovered today (10/05/2025) that the fan stopped working and won’t come back on. Very disappointed in this product. I feel like it should have lasted longer than 3 1/2 months.

I have bee hives. While bees don't fly at night the product description states the unit works through the day as well. Do you have any data on how it interacts with honey bees?

Honey bees are generally not considered a target species for the DynaTrap® 1/2 Acre LED Mosquito & Insect Trap. According to DynaTrap®, honey bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators are not attracted to the carbon dioxide produced by the trap and are not expected to be attracted or harmed under normal use.
The trap works primarily by using UV light, warmth, and a small amount of carbon dioxide to attract mosquitoes and other nuisance flying insects such as flies, moths, gnats, wasps, and beetles.
Because the unit operates 24/7 and uses UV light, some non-target insects may occasionally be captured. However, honey bees are much less active at night, when the trap is most effective against mosquitoes. For beekeepers, we recommend placing the trap away from hive entrances and primary bee flight paths to minimize any interaction with pollinators.
At this time, we are not aware of specific field studies conducted by DynaTrap on capture rates of honey bees around managed hives.

Thank you for your question. The Dynatrap® 1/2 Acre LED Mosquito & Insect Trap is designed to operate on a standard 120V outlet. Most Dynatrap® insect traps are rated for 120 volts and are not intended for direct use with 220V systems.
If you plan to use the trap in Europe, you would need a suitable step-down voltage converter that converts 220-240V power to 120V and can support the trap's power requirements. We recommend checking the voltage information on the product label or power adapter before travel.
Model DT1130 is designed to plug into a standard 120V outlet and operate continuously for best results.
